How you know her:
Shailene (also known as Shai) is a standout actress in the young hollywood crowd. Of course you know her as the title pregnant character in ABC Family’s, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, but since the series began in 2008, Shailene has become a bona fide movie star. She was nominated for a slew of critical awards, including a Golden Globes nod as Best Supporting Actress, following her turn as George Clooney’s angst-ridden daughter in 2011′s acclaimed film, The Descendants. Now, Shai’s currently promoting her Sundance-adored indie dramedy about young love, The Spectacular Now.

She’s committed to going without makeup part-time on red carpets – and still looks utterly beautiful.
